tau huay is back!
bye bye stockholm...a place tat i will alwiz have fond memories of... thank u for everything...for e peace, love and joy tat u have brought into my life...for bringing me closer to nature, and making me realize the simplicity and wonders of God's beautiful creations... for making me love my loved ones even more...for making me realize that i am stronger than i think i am... =)
hello spore! it's been a long long way back home....2 hrs of flight delay at stockholm to bangkok... 14kg backpack,1 ultra heavy xiang1 ba1 lao3 bag with my laptop inside, and my food bag, battling with a queasy stomach...(e airport staff looked at my backpack :"this is massive!", e air stewardness commented "where have u been??!")....by e time i took e transit flight fr bangkok to spore, like eliz, i felt totally exhausted...sat down and drifted to sleep...jet lag...and nauseous fr e airflight meals (felt like i was being served meals all e time...."chicken w fried rice or egg w sausage, m'dm?")... when i regained consciousness, i suddenly heard e announcement to fasten our seat belts, cos we will be landing in "changi airport, spore"...when i heard "changi airport", it felt so familiar, i couldn't believe my ears...suddenly felt so excited dat i forgot my queasy stomach and all e weariness fr carrying my luggage...adrenaline! looked out of e plane window, and saw ships, stretches of reclaimed land, buildings, and finally e plane landed!....when i went to e belt to collect e luggage i had checked in, I SAW MY FAMILY thru e glass panal, waiting for me at e gate!! i couldn't stop smiling when i saw everyone waving frantically at me, melon, my mother, my grandma, my dad, my bros... it was e most heartwarming sight and e best welcome gift for me...=) and when i saw eliz hugging twinkle (her cute dog!) so happily, i felt happy for her too =)
highlights! 1) my elder bro drove me back in his new car! 2) FOOD! (had cai4 fan4 for lunch! and my mum plus grandma bought me so many slices of cakes of all flavours for tea time cos i have a sweet tooth =)...dinner was yong tau foo w bee hoon soup, my fave! and oso ate some curry even though my stomach was still queasy...hehe...) 3) melon placed a little pot of "plant" on my desk, and e leaves wud move up and down when there's a light source...couldn't stop smiling! 4) lying on MY bed! 5) seeing my beloved ee-yores and giving them a big hug! 6) going to, yes, HEARTLAND mall w melon, and it was enuff to make me happy! even walking about in cold storage made me happy.... 7) WATCHING TV...i've been deprived from TV for 5+months! so imagine me switching channels delightfully thru e whole nite, SCV channels : 54, 51 [MTV channel], 52, 3 [Channel 8!], 9 [ Channel U!]...i shud subscribe to MOB TV... 8) sleeping in my parents' air con room...haha...my room's too messy now!
What I've been doing for e past two days- Day 1, 19th june, Monday: helped my Dad w laundry, and he bought me a char siew bao and tau huay for breakfast! den went shopping, had a free haircut courtesy of e star of e year, and had a nice chit chat session w my good old pal, anqi!! came back home and had another chit chat session w my mum for more than 2 hours....
Day 2, 20th june, Tuesday: chit chat w my mum again, and we went orchard to shop!! she bought me a nice pair of sandals...thank u mummy! =) hehe...ate sakae sushi @ HMV for lunch, and Old Chang Kee yam puff for tea break, and bee hoon hor fun for dinner....tv at nite, and trying to clean my messy room (was engaged in a battle w red ants that have settled down in my room during my 5+mths absence....i need to find their hiding place!!! FAST!)...
if u all have a solution for me to deal w e red ants invasion, or for those who simply miss me (haha), my phone line has been restored so just drop me an sms or something! =)

they usually travel in a line. so u just follow that line. i had the same prob in PGP. tried to track down the line of ants for days and finnaly found it! it led to a long long crevice by the windowsill and i taped up that whole long hole. hahah. so i guess all the ants were trapped inside. =)
